The Tao of Lee

For my first article I thought I would begin with a primer into the fundamental logic behind my views. To begin I will say that I would not consider myself aligned with any current political, social, or religious organization.

I am not a patriot, although I am thankful for what my country has provided me. Within our state, our nation, our world I see problems that defy solution. With these writings I hope to provide answers, or at least another voice and opnion to be heard among the others.

Many will disagree with things I have to say and I expect that. My goal here is not to convert the world to my way of thinking. I want only to strengthen the people of open minds, and perhaps make the rest think in ways they may not have tried before.

As an underlying theme, I believe that no two men or women are truely equal and to consider it otherwise is folly. We as a race however are united by certain universal traits that make us human beings. We are united by our common ground, but we are divided by our priorities.

All indivuduals have their own priorities, that is what makes them individuals. In the end all we can really control is our own minds and how we think for ourselves. I can only try to open the door. I cannot make someone go through nor should I force that path upon them.

Ignorance can be bliss but it is a road with no destination. We will always be pushed and pulled through life by forces beyond our control, but we still set the course of our own ships.
